Champions League: Efe tackles Iheanacho

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has been included in Manchester City's 21-man travelling squad to Scotland for today's UEFA Champions League clash. Celtic parades Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose.

The squad was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon on City's official Twitter handle

Other notable names in the squad are Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, David Silva, John Stones and Aleksandar Kolarov, Nolito Agudo, Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy.

Kevin De Bruyne (hamstring) Vincent Kompany (muscle strain), Fabian Delph (knock) and Yaya Toure have been ruled out of the encounter.

Iheanacho featured in City's 4-0 win against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Etihad Stadium on match-day 1, replacing Aguero in the 83rd minute.

Manchester City and Celtic have never met competitively before. Although this is the clubs' first official encounter, they have met in friendly matches.

City beat Celtic 2-1 in August 2009 with Gareth Barry and Carlos Tévez scoring either side of Chris Killen.
